ASTRID ANDERSEN presents the brand’s twentieth seasonal collection for Autumn/Winter 2021 through their first digital catwalk, shot on location in the brand’s hometown of Copenhagen, starring an all-local cast from the Norrebrø neighbourhood which has been home to the Astrid Andersen studio and shop since 2005.
The mood this season is strongly rooted in an intuitive approach running from design and inspiration through to casting and overall creative direction – this intuitive approach has paradoxically resulted in a collection free from time and space, capturing instead a mood trapped between nostalgia and the future. Optimistic and playful, with charismatic and unapologetic nods to streetwear, this collection is a bold and authentic statement about what Astrid Andersen represents as the brand moves into its second decade.
