British menswear brand About Blank has released a collection celebrating “The Beautiful Game,” a capsule designed for Spring/Summer ’26 that bridges the gap between retro football heritage and contemporary minimalism.Drawing inspiration from the iconic international football shirts of the 1980s and 1990s, the collection features seven reworked jerseys that capture the nostalgia of football’s golden era. Rather than standard sportswear fabrics, these pieces are elevated through the about:blank lens, crafted from lightweight wool knits and finished with felt appliqué badges and numbers.
The accompanying campaign was shot in familiar community settings using local people from various backgrounds to highlight the universal appeal of grassroots football. It serves as a reminder that the sport is a shared language woven into identity, family, and community, far beyond the professional stage.
The collection launches for members on Thursday, 11th June at 4pm BST, and will be available in-store exclusively at Goodhood, London, starting Friday, 12th June.
