TOURNE DE TRANSMISSION is a London based label founded in 2012 by Graeme Gaughan. Tourne de Transmission is the literal translation of Rotating Transmission: an analogy for the idea of combining visuals, textures, sound and words with the result of generating a message. Creating statements based on the reaction between social-political commentary, visual media and the layers of transparency within these areas of modern life. The collections are further informed via Gaughan’s multidisciplinary approach to artistic re-appropriation of news, mixed materials and a developing study of eastern clothing cultures.
