UK based modern spectacle maker CUBITTS have launched
their Titanium Collection, a range of pure titanium frames.
Constructed with 99.3% pure titanium, the highest grade available, and
with beta titanium temples to give flex and grip. Each frame weigh’s 5g
without lenses ten times stronger than acetate and each component has been designed taking
inspiration from sculpture and architecture.
To pay homage to the brands roots, the frames within the collection are
named after architects and engineers who helped to build the Kings
Cross area, the home of the first Cubitts store: Turnbull, Morgan, Barlow
and Plimsoll.
Each frame comes in four plating colours, Antique Gold, Shiny Silver,
Shiny Gold, Gunmetal, which are ion plated to increase the thickness and an exceptional hard surface .
