BETON CIRE HATS

BÉTON CIRÉ is a combination of street and sea. Béton, meaning concrete, referrers to the urban world and “street” culture, and Ciré, meaning waxed, is a nod to the yellow raincoats worn by mariners. The brand was established by Amélie Le Roux in 2013 in France when she redesigned a traditional Miki sailor’s hat from Brittany, France. The hats are handmade blending the traditional with the modern, creating a half beanie and half cap perfectly suited for the sea or city. With varying fabrics and finish the collection consists of five designs, satisfying the modern day pirates and sailors, who glide through cities as if sailing the seas.
