3*PARADIS Spring / Summer 2020 collection entitled “Three Little Birds” explores the idea of unity through diversity under the fundamentals of love and empathy.
Artistic director, Emeric Tchatchoua delves into the concept of unity without uniformity and diversity without fragmentation by shifting focus from unity based on a mere tolerance of physical, religious or sociocultural differences towards a more complex unity based on an understanding that difference enriches human interactions.
Layered with references, double entendre and symbols, 3.PARADIS’ collection is a poetic marriage of fabrics, finishes, shapes and details, heavily influenced by the idea of recognizing our individual differences by disrupting internal processes and cultural norms.
